FAQs > Local Restaurants
These homes are just under 1 mile to the Inner Harbor. It's an easy walk. Food establishments start in the neighborhood and they get more plentiful until you get to the Innner Harbor. From there there is more in every direction (north is Mount Vernon, further east is Little Italy and Fells Point, and south is Federal Hill)

Seafood and Crabs
- Nick's Seafood - There is a place on the way out of town south (about 3 miles from the housse) that sits on a small Chesapeake bay inlet that is good for crabs and seafood. -- Nicks Seafood. They are also the same vendor that is in the Cross Street Market in Federal Hill.
- Faidley's Crab Cakes -- An inner city cultural experience at the Lexington Market...
Vegetarian / Vegan
- I've been a vegetarian since 2000.
- Lots of vegetarian sushi and great stuff at the Lebenase and ethnic restaurants.
- One World Cafe -- About 4 miles north. On the north side of the Johns Hopkins campus across from the Lacrosse field. Amazing (and right across from it an in unmarked highrise is a high end Indian restaurant with amazing gardens).
- Land of Kush - - About 2 miles north. Smaller Vegan cafe that does catering. Rocking good stuff.
