1) Parking
627 has a parking pad behind the home that can accommodate 1 vehicle. No pass is required. That is my property. There is also a cardboard parking pass on the kitchen counter that can be used for neighborhood parking. That pass gets placed on the driver's side dashboard and it is good 24/7/365 anywhere in the neighborhood.
More than 2 Vehicles - You are at risk of getting a ticket if you do not find parking outside the neighborhood for additional vehicles (they do not tow). There is a 2 hour limit for non-permitted vehicles during the day and no tolerance for non-permitted vehicles in the evening. They "typically" only ticket during stadium events so in many cases you "might be" okay if there during non-stadium events, but that is a risk. Last I heard the tickets ranged from $40 to $100 depending.
There are parking garages within a half mile that cost ~$30/day. You can also get valet parking for a garage from several of the hotels on the north side of Camden Yards ( 3-5 blocks away). The pricing is about the same as the garage.
Also, the gas station at the corner of Green St and Washington Blvd (northwest corner of Camden Yards) also will typically allow parking there for a fee.
The best 'free' solution for additional vehicles is to leave a vehicle at a park and ride on the beltway. The closest park and ride is about 8 miles away.
There are also photos of the parking in the photo gallery for each home.

2) Early Check-in / Late Check-out
Standard check in time is 4pm. Standard checkout time is 11am. I can not promise an early checkin or a late checkout until 3-5 days prior to that date, as my reservation and cleaning schedule are not finalize until a few days out.
If you would like an early checkin/late checkout, you can mention it during the booking process, but I will simply ask you to email me 3-5 days prior to the date when I can then give you a definitive answer. I do typically have a $25 fee for accommodating early check in and late checkout. That fee is deducted from your damage deposit refund. If I can not accommodate an early check-in, I can typically accommodate the staging of bags.
More details regarding bag staging and the early checking/late checkout request process are included in the 'check in docs' which you will receive approximately 30 days prior to arrival. More info on those docs contained in the FAQ below.

3) Home Stay Documents and Keys
Four documents are sent out upon payment in full:
1) DIRECTIONS -- A detailed map with driving and parking instructions. Print them and use them as you will be going to the rear of the home for parking and initial access and GPS wont get you there!
2) CHECKIN document -- with everything you need to know about getting in and staying in the home, along with early check/late checkout request process and bag staging
3) CHECKOUT document -- with everything you need to know about how to check out properly in order to recieve a full damage deposit refund.
4) MAP -- A map to grocery stores and neighborhoods around the area.
KEYS -- The homes are on lockboxes. The combo for the home is in the DIRECTIONS document. The combo is in the directions instead of in the checkin document to ensure you print out the directions and use them!!

4) Kitchen
The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything found in a typical home. Numerous groups have prepped holiday meals in the kitchen with no complaints of items lacking. The fridges and cabinets typically have a reasonable amount of condiments and staples from prior tenants.
5) Linens, Towels, Paper Products
All towels, sheets and paper products are provided. Some extras can be found in the laundry areas. All you need are your toiletries and a hair dryer
6) Laundry
There is a washer and dryer in each unit with detergent for your use if needed. You are not required to clean your linens and towels as part of the check out but you you are asked to strip beds and start one load of laundry prior to departure. Never use any bleach on anything that belongs to me.
7) Small Appliances
There are irons and ironing boards in each home, typically stored in the upstairs closets. There are small coffee pots in the kitchen (there are typically filters from prior guests). No hair dryers are provided.
8) Outdoor Grills
There are charcoal grills in the rear yard of 625 and on the rear deck of 627. It's bring your own charcoal, fluid and matches, although you may want to check the garage of 625 for extra left from prior guests. Please clean the grill after you are done. We do not 'clean' the grill. It is a pay it forward type of thing.
9) Internet and TV
The houses share a very fast Comcast internet connection and a Comcast mid-level cable service. There are several wireless routers to connect to in order to try to provide good coverage throughout that homes.
10) Heating and Cooling
Both homes have 2 zones of modern heating and air conditioning systems.
11) Can I preview the home in person prior to booking?
I don't do home previews/walk-thrus as part of the sales process. The addresses of the homes are posted and you are welcome to drive the front and rear of the homes. When I started in the business in 2007 I tried to accommodate preview requests but I found the majority of folks to be previewing for insincere reasons, or for 'features' that weren't pictured (like dinner table seating for 12), or they were just doing it as part of their wedding planning 'experience' (most requests were/are from folks looking for lodging for their wedding event). I have a lot of photos, information, and testimonials that should more than suffice for your decision making process. I realize that people have had 'bad' experiences with property misrepresentation and I've tried to give an 'accurate' representation of my properties in all my literature.
12) Personal Safety and Theft from Vehicles
Occasionally I get asked 'are the homes in a safe area'. The homes in my neighborhood range in value from $200-$400k. Obviously we all felt safe enough to purchase our homes. My neighbors and I feel comfortable walking to the Baltimore attractions and events during populated hours (~8am-10pm). That said this is an urban environment filled with diversity, and you should always be mindful of your surroundings. Use urban common sense at all times.....walk in well lit areas (not down alleys), walk in groups when possible, and if coming home late at night be more mindful of your surroundings and consider taxis as needed. I've yet to have a guest tell me they didn't feel safe. Some folks comment on their feelings on this topic in the testimonials so please review those.
If you don't leave any valuables in your vehicle nor any bags, boxes or luggage that could contain valuables, you should not have any issues. If you leave a GPS in on the dashboard or your wallet on the front seat, you are asking for trouble. I've yet to have a guest tell me of an issue with theft from their auto....knock on wood....
